The Problems with Teen Cell Phone and Social Media Usage

The invention of the iPhone in 2007 shook the world. It came packed with instant communication in your pocket, hundreds of games to keep you entertained, and of course, the unending scroll of short-form content. The phone is a double-edged sword; while it can be used for good to do things like spread kindness and as a useful tool to aid you in your work, there are many drawbacks, such as a decrease in mental health and productivity. I strongly believe that cell phone use needs to be limited among teens to decrease the risks to their mental health.
